Greve Smoth is making evocative and challenging noise music and visual art that uses found sounds from around the RF Spectrum (VHF to UHF) and live instrumental improvisation. By making use of Software Defined Radio (SDR) resources, he is able to manipulate the sounds he finds digitally and sync them up with video to create an immersive audio/visual experience.

His creative aim is to share with audiences the overwhelming abundance of radio waves present in the RF Spectrum right at this very moment. We cohabitate with so many frequencies all derived from human progress and its his goal as a performer to challenge how audiences juxtapose the meteoric growth of technology with more primitive sounds of pots, pans, bells, cymbals, drums, rusty metal, washboards, stomping, and other acoustic instrumental elements.

In the end, he might inspire audiences to reclaim in their own lives some amount of analog agency in an ever perilous digital age.
